… is another trait of a positive leader. Active concern about your world and your community are assets you cannot afford to dismiss. If you have the ability to transform your concern into constructive action, this is even better. You will gain respect when people know you are not only thinking about yourself.

Self-confident

A leader needs to be self-confident. While arrogance and boastfulness are characteristics of weak people, healthy self-confidence shows strength. You know who you are, and you like yourself. You can get the job done, whatever it may be. You take pride in your accomplishments, whether they are large or small.
